Pitch At The AI Summit During London Tech Week
Find Me Sales got the chance to pitch to a panel of judges and experts at the AI Summit during London Tech Week. The ‘Into the den’ competition, sponsored by Taylor Vinters, saw 30 businesses of all sizes pitch to the panel for 3 minutes each, with 5 finalists going onto a 10 minute Q&A. Congratulations to the winner Panakeia and finalists Encord, Pigro, Troj AI and NOAH Analytics.
AI Summit
The AI Summit was a 2 day event on the 17th and 18th of June, which saw AI companies give talks and exhibit their products and services. There were exhibitions about AI like ‘AI through the ages’ which worked really well. The AI Summit also hosted the Tech Week Drinks Party on Wednesday evening and this is where we were invited by Taylor Vinters to pitch Find Me Sales the next day.
The Panel
The judging panel was made up from a range of experts from across the artificial intelligence, investment and legal communities. They were tasked with asking questions after each pitch. The panel was made up from representatives of Pello Capital, Seed Legals, MENA Technology Fund, venture capital firm P101, Creative Destruction Labs, Capital Enterprise and Taylor Vinters. All the judges asked great questions of the businesses and teased out insight.
The Companies
There was a strong showing of med tech companies, although there were also fintech and insurance tech amidst others. Many of the companies had raised, with some going as far as Series B, so the competition was fierce. The five finalists were Panakeia, Encord, Pigro, Troj AI and NOAH Analytics, with Panakeia ultimately going on to take the trophy. Each of the founders responded well to questions from the judges and it was a close decision.
London Tech Week
London Tech Week is a gathering of some of the brightest thinkers and doers in London, from business leaders to political thinkers (and some techies!) Tech Week 2022 celebrates the city’s technology expertise and the diversity of our technology communities, and was a great return to form after a few years of online events. There was an amazing line-up of industry experts, entrepreneurs and leaders from the technology sector who shared their thinking and progress at multiple events over five days from Monday 13 June to Friday 17 June. Many of the events are free to attend and we hope to meet you there next year for London Tech Week 2023!
