November ‘22 Update
Hello and welcome to our monthly update. Through November we’ve been making big steps to overhaul Leadsearch - our real-time Companies House database mirror. We have also started publishing Find Me Sales research, looking at business formations each week. Finally, we spent time this month changing lead URLs to make them human readable instead of a random ID. Read on to hear more about each of these new pieces of work and find out what we have in store looking forward.
Leadsearch Overhaul
We’re changing the way Leadsearch works by adding an additional step. Up till now, the only way to view information about a lead was to analyse it using a credit. Our user trials showed that people found the concept difficult and didn’t want to use a credit on a business that they didn’t know much about. Moving forward you’ll be able to add a lead to your CRM first, and choose whether to enrich it using our AI. This means more leads in your CRM, and more choice over which Leads you enrich using AI.
Find Me Sales Research
Ever since we got Leadsearch working as a real-time mirror of the Companies House database, we wanted to start publishing research. We’re happy to say that this month we published our first weekly research piece that gives you the total number of businesses incorporated in the last week, the daily total and the top 5 industries. We hope you enjoy these bits of research going forward and it gives you an idea of the top industries and how busy the week has been with company formations.
Lead URLs
When you clicked on a lead in Leadsearch, it would take you to the Lead page which was designated a random ID. Some of our users wanted to share these leads and it wasn’t easy to find them on spreadsheets with random IDs. So we spent some time this month changing this so that when you click on a Lead you will see its name and company number in the URL. This makes it much easier to find and work with Leads on Find Me Sales.
Looking forward
Over the next month we’ll be fully releasing the new changes for Leadsearch, as well as the Lead URLs. Once these updates are out the way, we can spend more time working on new features. We have plenty in mind that we will share with you over the coming months. Until then, have an amazing December!
